The assignment for this film was to utilize elements observed in other experimental films we had seen in this class. La Jettee was a 1962 film that utilized still frames to tell its story, so for the assignment, I utilized still frames manipulated in editing to tell the story. One section did use video, but editing each frame individually kept the spirit of the assignment in tact. The film was entered into the 2008 UC Davis film festival, which garnered the best in show title.
