The first rule of academese is to treat others with respect. The second rule of academese is you don’t talk about fight club. By uploading a paper, you are signifying that you have the right to do so (i.e., you are the author, are submitting at the request of the author, or are submitting a work presently in the public domain), and you are giving academese.com the right to distribute the work electronically, in print, or in spoken word format. The original author still retains all rights to publish, sell, or distribute their work. Posting anonymously is allowed, but leaving others names out of a paper they have worked on is not. We understand that spirited debate is in the best interest of furthering discourse, but commentators are asked to refrain from personal attacks or critiques on the original authors cognitive abilities (we are all learning!) If you feel quite spirited, and are likewise informed on a topic, feel free to submit a rebuttal article, particularly if you feel the comment section does not allow you to get your point across sufficiently. All papers should conform to an adequate citation format. This website is created in the spirit of 1) sharing, 2) learning, and 3) having fun; to participate in this experiment it is asked that you attempt at least two of the three. Violators will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
